myCVT

With precise calibration and dynamic functionality, Swan Learning Labs has integrated the myCVT with National Instrument’s, myRIO/myDAQ and LabVIEW software to learn the principles of a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). Available with a manual or electronic shifter!

Swan Learning Labs suggest using the myCVT to understand:

  • Pulse Width Modulation

  • Speed Control

  • Closed loop control

  • Power, voltage, and current measurement

  • Frequency measurement

  • Gear ratios

  • Continuously variable gearing

  • Electronic shifting

  • Speed and gear interactions

  • Dynamic loading

  • Servo control and operation

  • System programming

  • Troubleshooting techniques

mySolar

With mySolar, Students learn about solar power sensing, generation, and tracking through first hand experience. With this minisytem your students will be able to learn about and perform:

  • Solar panel operation

  • Voltage-light relationships

  • Light intensity frequency

  • solar tracking algorithms

  • Pulse-width modulation principles

myDyno

Behold the World’s Smallest Dynamometer (Dyno)!

myDyno is an amazingly small, fully functioning dynamometer that allows you to perform automotive power experiments the same way automakers do, using the same software the industry uses.

Just like the dynamometers in Detroit and around the world, myDyno uses a drive motor and dynamo to test the following:

  • Pulse Width Modulation

  • Speed Control

  • Closed loop control

  • Power, voltage, and current measurement

  • Signal processing

  • System programming

Automotive power is now in the palm of your hands!

Our concepts are beneficial in areas of study including Science, Engineering, and Physics.  They offer multiple lessons that are suited for students in high school, vocational or trade schools, and College classes.

myCVT

As a first of its kind, the myPendulum is powered by National Instruments' myDAQ and LabVIEW allowing the period of the myPendulum to be measured in real time. Data can be stored for comparison, providing an array of experiments.

Key features of the myPendulum are:

  • Work with Nis myDAQ and LabVIEW for optimal hands-on computer based measurements

  • Light weight, compact, and designed to work in any lab or classroom setting

  • Adjustable arm for setting various pendulum lengths and periods
